A museal carved cruxifix. Greece, Mount Athos, 17th century. Carved boxwood. Lower part with scenes of the passion of Christ. Plugged crucifix. Both sides with twelve feasts, including the Nativity of Christ, the Annunciation, the Baptism of Christ, the crucifixon, the lamentation of Christ, the Resurrection and the Transfiguration of Christ.
