St. Nicholas the Miracle-Worker with cloisonné enamel oklad. Tempera on wood panel against a golden background. St. Nicholas flanked by Christ and the Mother of God. The icon covered in a silver-gilt oklad. His halo and the corner plates decorated with scrolling foliage and strapwork in blue, white, red and green cloisonné enamel on stippled ground. Marked with city hallmark, assayer's mark "AA", 84 standard and master's mark "A.I.K." in Cyrillic. Moscow, Antip Ivanovitch Kuzmichev, 1888. 31.2 x 26.8 cm. On the reverse 1978 dated export permission of the Soviet Ministry of Culture.
