A large and finely painted icon of St. Antipas. Tempera on wood panel with kovcheg. The saint in Episcopal garments depicted full-length, carrying the Gosel and raising his hand in benediction. The top register depicting the Deisis. Three episodes from the saint's life flanking his central portrait. The figures executed finely. The garments opulently adorned with gold patterns, the narrative episodes portrayed against elaborate architecture. Minimally restored. The silver oklad with opulent foliage. The halo rim and the name plate in cloisonné enamel. Marked with assayer's mark, 84 standard and master's mark "V.S. SALAMATIN" in Cyrillic.
