A vase with bleeding heart Burgun, Schverer & Co. Glashütte Meisenthal, circa 1895 - 1900 Violet glass with enameld, etched and cut bleeding heart. Mark: VERRERIE D'ART DE LORRAINE déposé. Rims silver mounted and stamped, one leaf of the mount min. damaged. 16 cm high (18 cm high with mounts). Fond teils graviert mit Martelé-Muster, an der Mündung eiszapfenartige Bordüre. Konturen- Provenance: A Cologne Private Collection Meisterzeichen. Die Montierung an der Mündung hat Doppelhenkel und reliefierten 1824 fusion with Burgun, Schverer & Co. 1895-1896 the glass artist Désiré Christian produced glasses for Emile Gallé. Until the 1890ies contact to the glass manufacture Vallerysthal. After WWII fusion into "Verrerie de Meisenthal". 1969 closing of the manufacture.
