Polychrom sehr fein ausgeführtes Bildnis einer Äbtissin in Ordenstracht an einem Tisch sitzend, die Heilige Schrift in der Rechten haltend, neben ihr ein goldener Äbtissinnenstab. Am oberen Rand unter blauer Draperie bez. "M. RAV. VILLIER 1606 ABBE SSE...", unten links monogrammiert "MM" und Jahreszahl "1606". Ornamentaler, geschnitzter, gefasster und vergoldeter Holzrahmen. 25,5 x 21,5 cm Die Abtei Notre-Dame de Villiers-aux-Nonnains, in der unsere Dargestellte wohl Äbtissin war, ist ein ehemaliges Kloster auf dem Gebiet der heutigen Gemeinde Cerny im Département Essonne in Frankreich. Es bestand von 1218 bis 1751.
