Passglas mit Emailbemalung Mitteldeutsch, datiert ''1720'' Farbloses, relativ dickwandiges Glas. Aus einer Glasblase gestauchter Fuß mit hohlem Rand, hochgestochenem Boden und Abriss. Wandung mit vier aufgeschmolzenen, gekerbten Passfäden, dazwischen polychrome Emailmalerei: Blattbordüren und Ringe, zwei gekreuzte Hämmer und ein Hase zwischen Maiglöckchenzweigen, am Stand Strichbordüre. Rückseitige Inschrift in Weiß "Gebradne Haasen seind nicht Böß, Der Hammer gibt gar hardte Stöß, Anno 1720". H. 17,4 cm Die Ausführung mit gekerbten Passfäden und Emailbemalung ist nicht häufig und wohl eine Übergangsform vom 17. zum 18. Jahrhundert. Wenn auch das Passglas eine typische Form des 17. Jahrhunderts war, belegt dieses Glas doch eine Herstellung weit ins 18. Jahrhundert. Lit.: Reine Formsache. Deutsches Formglas 15. bis 19. Jahrhundert.
