Eingeschnürter Schaft, trichterförmige Kuppa mit geschnittenem und bekröntem Monogramm "ER VIII" (= Eduard) und unterhalb des Lippenrandes umlaufender Inschrift "Acceded 20th Jan: 1936. Abdicated 11th Dec:1936". Fußinschrift "This Goblet is No 25 (bzw. 30, 31, 32, 34, 35, 36) of a special issue of 100 only." H. 24 cm Eduard VIII. (23.6.1894 - 28.5.1972) war von 1910 bis 1936 Prince of Wales, von Januar bis zu seiner Abdankung im Dezember 1936 König des Vereinigten Königreichs und Kaiser von Indien und ab Dezember 1936 Duke of Windsor. Eduard war der zweite Monarch aus dem 1917 neubegründeten Hause Windsor. Er dankte ab, um die Schauspielerin Wallis Simpson heiraten zu können.
