Gerahmt. 76,5 x 50,5 cm Der anonyme Kopist orientiert sich bei vorliegendem Gemälde an Raffaels berühmter Madonna Tempi, welche sich heutzutage in der Alten Pinakothek in München befindet. Ursprünglich seitens der Familie Tempi beauftragt, kam es Anfang des 19. Jh. durch Ludwig I. nach Bayern. Die dargestellte intime und liebevolle Szenerie zwischen Mutter und Kind wird durch den Blick des Jesuskindes aufgebrochen: Indem es den Betrachter ansieht, wird selbiger in den emotional bewegten Moment aufgenommen, wird Teil des Geschehens.
