A silver pot. Of baluster form, on spreading circular foot. The body partly repoussé, chased and engraved with rocaille, scalework and flowers, with a vacant cartouche at each side. Carved wood foliate scroll handle. The hinged dome with two further bands of decoration and baluster wood finial. Gilt interior. Marked under base and on cover with city hallmark, assayer's mark "AOP" in Cyrillic and master's mark. Moscow, circa 1775. 19 cm high, 344 gr.
