Pastellkreide auf Papier auf Keilrahmen. Pendants: Portraits von Wilhelm sowie Louise von Schauroth. Brustbildnisse nach rechts und links. Vor grau-blauem Hintergrund sieht der blauäugige Wilhelm den Betrachter frontal an. Er trägt einen schwarzen Rock mit Epauletten, Goldnöpfen, rotem Revers und hochgeschlossenem Kragen. Lousie sitzt dagegen vor einer architektonischen Kulisse mit Sträuchern. Auch sie blickt den Betrachter en-face an. Ihr dunkles Haar ist am Hinterkopf hochgesteckt, während die vorderen Partien als Korkenzieherlocken ihr Gesicht sanft umrahmen. Verso handschriftlich bezeichnet "Wilhelm von Schauroth; dem Carl sein Eigentum gemalt im Dez. 1852." sowie "Louise von Schauroth; dem Carl sein Eigentum".
