Auf tiefblauem Fond Maria mit weißem Gewand und schwarzem Umhang. Gewandornamente, Herz und Krone in Gold. 44,5 x 37 cm (mit schlichtem Holzrahmen) Hinter der Scheibe befindet sich eine auf 1865 datierte spanische Klosterrechnung über Einkäufe wie bspw. Schokolade. Die Mater Dolorosa ist ein vorwiegend in romanischen Ländern im Barock beliebter Typus und zeigt Maria mit leidvoll bewegtem Gesicht. Die sieben Schwerter symbolisieren die sieben Schmerzen Mariens.
