Die Froschkönigin. Bronzestatuette, vergoldet auf runder Plinthe. Weiß-braun geaderter, polygonaler Marmorsockel. Die dem Jugenstil entstammende Kleinplastik zeigt ein stehendes, nacktes Mädchen, einen Frosch sorgsam in ihren Händen haltend. Auf ihrem offenen Haar ein aus Teichrosen geflochtener Kranz. Auf der Plinthe signiert "Eug: Wagner." (Druckschrift, vertieft). Verso Gießerstempel "Akt-GES-GLADENBECK BERLIN". H. 30,5 cm, H. 23 cm (ohne Sockel) Wagner war Bildhauer, studierte an der Dresdner Akademie, nahm an Ausstellungen in München, Düsseldorf und Berlin teil und war Mitglied im Reichsverband bildender Künstler Deutschlands und der Allgemeinen Deutschen Kunstgenossenschaft.
