Auf unregelmäßigem, teilvergoldetem Rocaillensockel. Staffiert in pastellfarbener Unterglasurbemalung. Auf dem Sockel bez.: Pellar (geritzt). Unterseite bez.: unterglasurgrüner Manufakturstempel Selb-Bavaria, K 695 (eingestempelt). H. 21 cm "Hanns Pellar wurde 1912 nach Darmstadt an die Künstlrkolonie berufen, der er bis 1917 angehörte. (...) Seine Frauenporträts trugen ihm das Prädikat 'Maler der Eleganz' ein, sein 'spukhaft aufgefasstes Rokoko' war von dekorativer Wirkung (Thieme/Becker). Das dürfte der Grund gewesen sein,weshalb von der Kunstabteilung Rosenthal einige Gemäldemotive Pellars figürlich umgesetzt wurden. Diese Entwürfe für Porzellanfiguren realisierte Albert Caasmann. Inwieweit Pellar sein Einverständnis gegeben oder finanziell daran partizipiert hatte, ist nicht bekannt." (E. Niecol, Rosenthal, Bd. 3, S. 88).
