Dichtgebrannte Irdenware, rotbrauner Scherben. Gefleckte matte Glasur in Grau-, Oliv- und Blaugrautönen. Laufspuren und Ritzornamente. Unbezeichnet. H. 23 cm. 1955 gründen Klaus Lehmann und Signe Pistorius, die seit 1954 miteinander verheiratet sind, die eigene Werkstatt in Hornsmühle im Odenwald. Während der bis 1964 gemeinsam geführten Werkstatt beteiligen sie sich an vielen Ausstellungen und Wettbewerben im In- und Ausland. 1989 wird Klaus Lehmann im Wettbewerb um den Westerwald - Preis in Höhr - Grenzhausen der Preis für keramische Plastik verliehen und 1991 erhält er in Offenburg anläßlich der Ausstellung 'Zeitgenössische Keramik 1991' den ersten Preis. Nach der Trennung von Klaus Lehmann gibt Signe Pistorius - Lehmann 1965 die Werkstatt in Hornsmühle auf. 1975 gründet sie die neue Werkstatt in Kippenheim bei Lahr. Lit.: I.
