Die in der Tradition des Biedermeiers gekleidete Dame im Bildvordergrund blickt den Betrachter an, während das Kind zu ihrer Linken sich zu den Herren, die sich gestikulierend unterhalten, gewandt hat. Rechts unten sign. und ortsbezeichnet "C.Dies:Roma.", in profiliertem Holzrahmen mit aufwendigen Verzierungen montiert. 44,5 x 52 cm.
