Preview: An El Dorado for Glass Collectors

We are glad to invite you to the upcoming sale “European Glass and Studio Glass” in Heilbronn, Germany on October, 18. There are more than 1000 glass objects, which will be called up, including some rare Emailglasses and Apothecaryflasks and also an extraordinary collection of paperweights. Furthermore there will be an offer of “Fachschule”-glasses by Haida & Schönau designed by Adolf Beckert, Heinrich Strehblow und Paul Eiselt.

Unequalled colourness: the French glass is highlighted by a Daum Frères vase, showing lovely blossoms of a crocus, estimated at 12.000 Euro. A rare exemplar from Burgun, Schverer & Co. is estimated at 15.000 Euro.

Extraordinary shapes at the 50s: a vase called “Eldorada” designed by Dino Martens (1953) is estimated at 7.500 Euro. A vase “Merletto” by Archimede Seguso, Murano (1952) will be called up at 10.000 Euro.

Studio Glass with enormous character: a vase by the Czech glass artist Lubomír Blecha starts with an estimate price of 8.500 Euro.
