Sèvres, 1836/37 - painted by Alexandre-Victor Poupart Perlstabfriese gegliederte Tülle sowie der über den Lippenrand hochaufschwingende On round base ovoid corpus. Rim and handle decorated with abundant acanthus leaf and gold. Neck and rim adorned with meander. Inside fine painted arabesque in gold. The red-brown ground is also decorated in gold and coloured enamel with garlands, birds, floral interlaced ornament and palmettes. On the right side the portrait of "LOUIS PHILIPPE I - ROI DES FRANCAIS" with a crown of oak. Across an aliferous putto who is standing on a console holding a laurel and oak branch. The accordingly refined cup shows the portrait of "LOUISE - MAR - TH - CH - IS - D'ORLÉANS REINE DES BELGES". The saucer is decorated with a medaillon framed of a meander frieze "le Pavillon de Mademoiselle au Château de Neuilly" (summer residence of the royal family). Wonderful fine polychromatic painting. Each piece with round factory mark with monogram "LP" (Louis Philippe) below crown and date "1836". The saucer is signed: "A.
