Consigning objects is possible at any time. We are always interested in high quality objects, collections and estates.
Auction Estimate
There are a number of ways to get an auction estimate on your pieces:
Send us photographs of the object you wish to sell via mail or email and you will get as soon as possible a response from one of our experts.
You also may contact directly our specialists by phone if you wish to discuss the sale of your property.
We have special dates when our experts will be on hand in cities throughout Germany for free consultation and advice. You will find the corresponding locations and dates on our homepage.
If you wish to consign a collection or estate we offer the service of visiting you at home for evaluation and consignment.
Consigning
Objects you wish to consign should be delivered to our house before the respective deadline. With the consignment contract, the seller and the representatives of the auction house agree on reserve prices and/or estimates.
Expenses
Consigners pay a selling commission from the hammer price.
The commission for hammer prices up to € 1000,00 is 20%, for hammer prices higher than € 1001,00 16%, incl. VAT. The amount for insurance is 7/1000 of the estimate.
We are working by summoning up all ours strength to obtain the optimal returns for our auctions and specially for our clients. The consigners fee cataloguing, photography, marketing and publicity, internet participation and storage depends on the estimate of each object and if it is sold or remains unsold.
Unsold objects are on post-auction sale two weeks after the auction. The accounting procedure will end about five to six weeks after the auction. Please let us know your bank details as soon as possible after the sale, so that we can wire your money.
Our Shipping Department assists you in delivering unsold items back to you on your instructions. As the consignor, you are responsible for packing, shipping and insurance charges.
Legal relations shall be governed by the law of the Federal Republic of Germany, exclusive of the Uniform Law on the International Sale of Goods and the Uniform Law on the Formation of Contracts for the International Sales of Good. Place of performance and place of jurisdiction for any legal proceedings including default proceedings shall be Heilbronn.
